In order to connect to our true nature, our true Self, and create the strategies to fully express our life’s purpose, we must first clear the stress:
Stress is the inability of a person to effectively adapt to his/her environmental demands. Recent research suggests that stress is in association with nearly every symptom, condition and disease. Being stressed causes specific changes in the brain and body that, in an immediately stressful situation, are absolutely necessary, but in the long term are detrimental to nearly every function in the body.

One aspect of the stress response is the diminished blood flow to the part of the brain called the frontal cortex. This part of the brain is where we have the experience of gratitude, love, joy and spiritual connection. It is where we do complex decision making and planning. When our systems are overloaded with stress, it is difficult for us to fully experience our sense of love, joy and gratitude and it does not allow us to make choices in life in the most reasonable way.

The modern world is full of potential stressors and as a result, the human brain and nerve system have a hard time keeping up with daily life. This inability to effectively adapt to life’s demands causes the lower portion of the brain to interpret the world as though we need to be protected. This lower brain reaction to life’s challenges is part of our natural stress response and is referred to as the “fight or flight” response.

In this state, we no longer respond to life and our environment, we react.

Resetting the stress response to have the opportunity to connect with our true essence requires new strategies in our systems:
Our brains and bodies are designed to self heal; self organize, grow and evolve. There is an innate intelligence or inner wisdom built into every one of us. This intelligence is orchestrated and coordinated through the brain. The brain and nerve system not only coordinate all of our life processes but also relate us to the world. We navigate our environment through the strategies available to us in our being.

At Zoller Thomas we promote this natural tendency for the brain to reorganize and grow. Our practitioners utilize gentle touches, coaching, and somato-respiratory integration exercises in a sequence that cues the brain to develop new strategies for stress relief, growth and development. These remarkable new strategies have never been demonstrated in any other discipline.

The new strategies that the body creates become permanent and can be used for a lifetime to release tension, dissipate the stress response, grow and thrive in the world.

Stress halts our natural tendency toward growth. Zoller Thomas guides you in developing strategies to clear the stress that has been stored in your body, connect you to your true self and create the life you are here to live.
