We live in a very stressful and demanding world. Our central nerve systems (brain and spinal cord) must relate and adapt to this stressful environment. The central nerve system of the human being has not changed much in thousands of years even though the world outside has changed dramatically.  It has been estimated that we are exposed to five hundred times more stress than our great great grandparents, yet we have essentially the same nerve system.

We are having a difficult time keeping up with the demands of the modern world. As the challenges in the modern world exceed the ability of our primitive nervous systems to respond or adapt, in varying degrees we lock into a state of stress physiology.

In effect our nerve systems either consciously or unconsciously sense that the world outside is a challenge and we must prepare to survive in it. This survival mode (stress physiology) ultimately leads to symptoms and disease as well as a halted natural tendency toward growth and progress. We learn to survive in the world, instead  of thrive in the world.

An analogy to this stress physiology would be to compare the nerve system to the processor of a computer. The world outside can be seen  as a software program. The problem is that the software program  called life has become much too complex to play effectively on our  outdated computer processors (nervous systems).

Through the process at ZollerThomas, it is now possible to upgrade your processor, so life's software can play with ease.  Receiving these gentle entrainments stimulates areas of the brain that naturally promote growth. It also leads to the  emergence of new strategies in the nervous system that allow for the  reduction of stress, and promotion of the healing process, as well as  promotion of better ways to adapt and thrive in the world!

Research at the University of Southern California at Irvine has shown that the new strategies developed have unique mathematical properties that have never been seen before.  We believe these new strategies are the solution to the challenges of  the modern world.
